Who can register for a CO2IN account?
You must be at least 15 years old and have permanent residence in one of the supported European countries.
How to sign up for a CO2IN account?
CO2IN registration for physical persons is done in the app. First, download the CO2IN app to your smartphone from either the Play Store, or the AppStore. Open the app and select Sign up. During registration, you will input your full name, email and phone number. You will save your password and PIN code. To use our Services, you will digitally sign a contract with us. That’s it! Registration should not take longer than 2 minutes!

What countries are currently supported?
At the moment, CO2IN is available in the European Economic Area (EEA) countries, the UK, the USA, Canada and Switzerland. Other parts of the world will follow.
What is the minimum age to open a CO2IN account?
The minimum age to use CO2IN is 15 years.
What can I do with a registered CO2IN account?
A registered account gives you access to all features of CO2IN, except Withdrawal. You can top up your account, buy or sell CO2INs, pay and receive CO2INs, as well as calculate your carbon footprint. However, you will be limited to a total cumulative limit for top up of €400.
What limits are placed on registered accounts?
The sum of all top ups allowed for a registered account cannot exceed €400. Any money sent above this threshold shall be returned. Also, you cannot withdraw money from your account without verification of your identity. To lift these limits, please Verify your account.
